In 1958 the Swan was a technologically innovative chair: No straight lines - only curves. A moulded shell of synthetic material on an aluminium star swivel base with a layer of cold foam covering the shell upholstered in fabric of leather.
Product Description A chair should be more than simply functional. It should be friendly, fun and colorful. The Swan and the Egg were both originally designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the lobby and lounge areas in the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen.
